ProMendoza Wine Tasting at the BACC

Ten Wineries, One Evening: The ProMendoza Private Wine Tasting

The British Argentine Chamber of Commerce, through its Argentine Wine & Travel Club, was proud to partner with Fundación ProMendoza to host a private wine tasting in London — an intimate showcase of ten Argentine wineries presenting their bottles to a carefully selected audience from the UK trade and wine community.

The evening was another expression of the BACC's ongoing commitment to bringing the best of Argentine wine to British audiences, and to creating the kind of relaxed, convivial setting in which genuine commercial conversations can begin.

The Wineries

Guests had the opportunity to taste across a remarkable breadth of styles and regions, with bottles from ten producers making their case to the UK market:

Antigua Bodega, Miravalles, Bodega Araujo, Clop Wines, Finca Buenaventura, Lomas del Malbec, Corbeau Wines, Tierra del Huarpe, Wenfor SA, and Bodega Meli.

The range on offer — from boutique estate wines to producers exploring the bulk and bottled export market — reflected the full spectrum of what Mendoza and its neighbouring regions have to offer the British market. For many of the wineries present, this was an important step in building visibility and relationships in one of Argentina's most valuable export destinations.
