Curated Argentina 2025: London Days Recap

The London leg of Curated Argentina 2025 — the British Argentine Chamber of Commerce's flagship wine, luxury travel, and hospitality trade mission — has wrapped, and we are proud to say it was a resounding success.

Here is a look back at what took place.

A Warm Welcome at the Argentine Residence

The mission opened in style. H.E. Ambassador Mariana Plaza welcomed the full delegation to the Argentine Residence in Belgrave Square for a private mission launch breakfast — setting the tone for the days ahead with characteristic warmth and generosity. Our sincere thanks to the Embassy of Argentina in the UK for hosting us so graciously.

Insight Session: Emerging Trends and Tools Shaping the Future of Wine and Travel

One of the highlights of the London programme was our Insight Session, moderated by BACC Board Member Maita Barrenechea and featuring a standout panel of speakers: John Arlidge, David Kermode, and Megan Parkinson.

The conversation ranged across the impact of artificial intelligence on the wine and travel sectors, the growing centrality of sustainability in luxury travel, and the significant commercial opportunities presented by the rise of chillable reds in wine consumption — among many other things. It was the kind of discussion that leaves the room with more questions than answers, which is exactly as it should be.

Two Business Networking Sessions

Across the London days, the mission hosted two business networking sessions, welcoming over fifty carefully selected UK-based businesses — wine traders, merchants, importers, distributors, sommeliers, travel agents, tour operators, lifestyle concierge services, private member clubs, and F&B buyers — all seeking to discover and add Argentina to their catalogues and portfolios.

The quality of the conversations and the level of genuine commercial interest in what Argentina has to offer was, by any measure, exceptional.

Wine Discovery: The Proof Is in the Drinking

No celebration of Argentina's best would be complete without the wines themselves. The London Wine Discovery brought together members of the press, trade, and key stakeholders from across the luxury travel, wine, and hospitality sectors for an evening of tasting at the Argentine Residence.

Guests explored bottles from Elemental Wines, Club Tapiz, and Gualtallary, alongside Argentine winners of IWSC Awards — a fitting showcase of the depth and calibre of Argentina's wine offer.
