14 Argentina-UK Business Networking Day

At the British Argentine Chamber of Commerce (BACC), we hosted the 14th edition of our Argentina–UK Business Networking Day on 4 June at Revolut's HQ in Canary Wharf, London, bringing together over 100 key stakeholders from the mining, energy, and finance sectors to explore investment opportunities in Argentina.

The event, opened by Javier Álvarez, Chairman of the BACC, and the Argentine Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Mariana Plaza, sparked valuable discussions and connections, reaffirming the growing international interest in Argentina's mining and energy sectors. We had three keynote addresses from high-level speakers, including Governor Rolando Figueroa of the Province of Neuquén; Deputy María Fernanda Ávila, President of the Mining Committee in the Argentine Congress and Executive Secretary of the Lithium Round Table; and Daniel Marx, head of Edenor, Argentina's largest electricity distribution company.

Three expert panels, featuring perspectives from global investors, guided the conversation throughout the day, covering the financing of Argentina's key sectors through international capital markets, the country's Large Investment Incentive Regime (RIGI), and the intersection of energy security and critical minerals.
